Day 8 - Singapore
Escape Hunt Adventure, Orchard Road, Raffles, Old Parliament Buildings
Today we finally made it to the "heart" of the shopping district, Orchard Road. Very modern and interesting buildings, but generally these days the shops are the same worldwide.
Our first challenge for the day was to find this place, our goal Escape Hunt Challenge.
When we finally found it, arriving 10 minutes after our booking time, we did the hardest challenge first as it was the only one available at the time. The idea was to get out of the room and into the next room and so on, solve the final mystery, and find the key to get out. So lots of codes to decipher, some maths, thinking outside the box. Each room had objects and clues that you had to piece together to solve the mystery. Good fun but we failed to get out within the hour, 63 mins it took us.
So good that we did the other three and succeeded in getting out before the hour was up in both of these.
After some retail therapy, exhausted we returned home and later I went for a walk before dark to see some the sights that were not of interest to the others.

That night another bum boat ride was called for, from outside the hotel all the way to Marina Bay Sands and back, had done enough walking for the day!
